Hello Everyone!!!
So for the past few weeks I have been trying out the skin care products I got from my previous purchases. I started out trying the samples first and now I'll give my take on SKINFOOD Young Leaves Pure Broccoli Cream.
I purchased these foil samples on my TesterKorea sample haul. These came in cute little foil packets in packs of 10. The website says it has 2ml of the product in each packet.
While using this cream I got about 2 uses per sachet. Not bad for a sample product, plus I got 2 sets of these so that makes it about 40 ml to try. It claims to brighten and give healthy glow to the skin. Hmmm.. Since I have a very uneven and dull skintone I decided to give it a try.
It has a very light consistency, not heavy at all. It gives a matte finish to the skin after application and it absorbs quickly. I don't have that heavy/greasy feel on my face after. Plus It doesn't smell like broccoli at all! :) It kind of smells like a medicated balm/salve my grandma used to put on us when we were children lol... I don't mild the smell, and I am not particularly a fan of overly-perfumed products either so I think that's okay.

However, this cream can't compete with the air-conditioning blasting full day at work and at home. It isn't hydrating enough and I noticed the dry patches on my cheeks after a few hours (I have an oily t-zone and dry cheeks). It is an ok moisturiser for maybe oily skin types but if you have dry skin or use air-conditioning often then you may have to use a more hydrating product. I didn't experience any skin brightening (probably beacuse I just used these for a few weeks) but it did make my skin soft immediately after use.
Repurchase? Probably not. I will keep these in my sample stash to maybe give away to friends. :)
For those of you who are interested, you can purchase these from TesterKorea here.
Until next time!
...Shannon..
