Innisfree Mother's Day Promotion

After the abrupt end of the Innisfree It's Real Squeeze sheet mask sale a few days ago, I was lucky enough to order a couple of sheet masks for my future stash (okay, it wasn't few, I ordered 40 sheet masks lol!!). I actually ordered them a day before it ended and even wrote a blog post here. I could have ordered it sooner but due to its popularity it kept on going out of stock grrrr, but still after a test of patience and a few days in between I managed to grab some of those I was eyeing. It was replaced by a hair care festival but I have to pass on that as I have too much shampoos and conditioners gathering dust in my bathroom, but if you're interested you can check out The Innisfree Hair Care Festival here.

Mother's day is just around the corner and Innisfree has a huge sale on some sets with free gifts to celebrate the event. I am a bit disappointed that it didn't coincide with the sheet mask sale they had otherwise I could have ordered a gift for my lovely mom with my earlier purchase :(

You can head on to the Innisfree global site for their Love You, Mom promotion.. ^^.

Until next time!

Eopenmarket New Lucky Box

Hello everyone!

A few weeks ago, I decided to do a major overhaul on my current skincare routine, or to put it simply my lack thereof. I think I have used soap as my face wash for so many years and I didn't think of changing this habit. That is until I discovered the wonders of Japanese and Korean skincare products.

I am curently testing my hauls I recently purchased (you can read it here and here) and I will be reviewing them in my upcoming blog posts. However I am in such a dilemma as I love love love samples!!! Whenever I see samples for sale in online shops I go crazy, specially when I discovered the Secret Lucky Box from Eopenmarket. It is a secret sample box with more than 30+ samples included. I searched the internet for reviews of this box and I must say I must get this on my next cosmetics purchase. And the magic words: Free worldwide shipping!!!

I read from other bloggers that there used to be a lucky box 1 and lucky box 2, with the latter being more expensive, but when I checked the site there was only one selection.

You can buy the Secret Lucky Box for $8.80 (add $2.50 for a tracking number).

What are your experiences after purchasing the lucky box? I'd love to hear from you.. ^-^

Until next time!

Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Sheet Mask Sale!

Hello everyone!

Innisfree is having a 10 for 10 It's Real Squeeze sheet mask sale right now (buy 10 get 10 free)!

How cool is that? I've never used a sheet mask before so it was a good time to buy while they are on sale. I got 40 sheet masks (ok so I admit I'm being too excessive here lol buy hey its dirt cheap so why not right??) for only 24 USD!!! Hooray!!! The shipping fee was a little high (my order totalled to about 1.2kg) so I used my free shipping coupon code for this. Can't wait for my first ever stash of sheet masks! :)

You can buy the special offer Innisfree It' Real Squeeze sheet masks here... :) Happy shopping!!

Until next time!

Roseroseshop order #1 and TesterKorea order #1

Actually, aside from ordering from Jolse, I discovered two more sites where you can buy Korean cosmetics and skincare products: Roseroseshop and TesterKorea. These two shops also ship worldwide however unlike Jolse, they do not offer free shipping. Instead they charge shipping fees according to the weight of the products. So the heavier the product, the more shipping fee you have to pay.

What I like about these sites is that aside from selling full-sized products, they also sell samples!!! Imagine my excitement when I found out about this lol... I am notorious for not finishing off my skincare products, even expensive ones (eeek!). So this was perfect for me, I can choose which products suit me best plus whatever I buy won't be too much for my wallet if ever I don't like the product. If I like the product then I'll buy the full-sized version, if not then I won't cry haha. Sounds good to me.. :)

Aside from ordering samples from Roseroseshop, I also ordered a full sized version of the Mizon Soft Milk Whipping Cream. I think all Mizon products sold at the shop offer free shipping?? Anyway I like milk skincare products so I just added it to my cart.  My cart from TesterKorea consisted of samples, no biggie, mostly SkinFood, plus an Innisfree cleansing foam, and a Face Shop cream. Most of the samples come in packs of 10, and some SkinFood samples come in two 5 ml small bottles.

So on to my puchases:

From Roseroseshop

(the Mizon cream was bubble wrapped, the samples were carefully arranged)

From TesterKorea

(Styrofoam was scattered around the box, pardon the lighting ^^)

I ordered these a few days after my Jolse haul. I couldn't make up my mind so I just randomly chose these samples (I just realized they are mostly from SkinFood).. These shipped out early last week and came together with my order from Jolse which I ordered two weeks beforehand (yay!!!) Not bad for standard shipping!! ^____^

With all these products I am now wondering which ones to use first (reviews coming soon...) I might tend to use all at the same time but then I hope my skin won't break out with all of these products lol...

So what was your experience shopping at these sites? I'd love to hear your views please comment your experiences below  :)

Until next time!

Jolse Haul #1

My very first Korean skincare haul!

So as promised, I got my very first order of Korean skincare products off the web. I got it from Jolse about two weeks back. I admit I was a little scared in ordering anything online as it was my very first purchase. I was used to ordering from various Instagram sellers but that was for Japanese products (review on those later)... A little background: Jolse is an online shop for Korean cosmetics/skincare products based in South Korea. It has worldwide free shipping (hooray!!!)..

Anyway I started browsing the internet for reputable online sellers and I read so many good reviews about Jolse so I thought why not give it a try, and I wont spend too much money on my first purchase anyway, I just wanted to see if it was a good online shop. I decided that the prices are reasonable so its a GO :)

My order timeline:
          Ordered:     27/03/2015
          Payment:    27/03/2015
          Shipped:      28/03/2015
          Received:    13/04/2015

Not a very long waiting time for parcels shipped halfway around the world (yay!). Not that I'm complaining, I was just expecting my parcel to come one more week later lol... I paid just 1 rial for customs duties (about 3 US dollars/115 PHP). I believe that the Sultanate has a fixed amount per parcel regardless of the declared amount (another reason to shop online as often as possible lol). Anyway enough of that...

The package arrived like this. Nothing fancy, just a basic sturdy small brown box:

Everything was bubble-wrapped except the freebies. So far so good :)

Time to check and unwrap my purchases! Nothing was squished..

I decided to purchase those that have plenty of positive reviews online (I admit I don't know anything about Korean products lol): Nature Republic 92% aloe vera soothing gel, Mizon snail recovery gel cream, and Innisfree super volcanic pore clay mask.

What excited me most was the freebies! Jolse sure is generous with samples. I received:
     Luke charcoal nose cleaning strips
     Fascy BBOGEUL tina moisture cream
Lioele triple the solution BB cream
     Lioele blooming shimmer pearl base
Lioele intensive time reversing snail cream
Tonymoly luminous goddess aura BB cream
     Tonymoly BCDation
     Tonymoly tomatox magic massage pack
     Tonymoly banana hand milk
     Etude House fresh cherry tint
     A pack of blotting papers

My overall impression? Way to go Jolse! I'll give them 5/5 with my overall experience.. I am planning to order some more products soon, what are your favorites?? any suggestions?? :)

Until next time!
