My very first Korean skincare haul!
So as promised, I got my very first order of Korean skincare products off the web. I got it from Jolse about two weeks back. I admit I was a little scared in ordering anything online as it was my very first purchase. I was used to ordering from various Instagram sellers but that was for Japanese products (review on those later)... A little background: Jolse is an online shop for Korean cosmetics/skincare products based in South Korea. It has worldwide free shipping (hooray!!!)..
Anyway I started browsing the internet for reputable online sellers and I read so many good reviews about Jolse so I thought why not give it a try, and I wont spend too much money on my first purchase anyway, I just wanted to see if it was a good online shop. I decided that the prices are reasonable so its a GO :)
My order timeline:
Ordered: 27/03/2015
Payment: 27/03/2015
Shipped: 28/03/2015
Received: 13/04/2015
Not a very long waiting time for parcels shipped halfway around the world (yay!). Not that I'm complaining, I was just expecting my parcel to come one more week later lol... I paid just 1 rial for customs duties (about 3 US dollars/115 PHP). I believe that the Sultanate has a fixed amount per parcel regardless of the declared amount (another reason to shop online as often as possible lol). Anyway enough of that...
The package arrived like this. Nothing fancy, just a basic sturdy small brown box:
Time to check and unwrap my purchases! Nothing was squished..

Everything was bubble-wrapped except the freebies. So far so good :)

I decided to purchase those that have plenty of positive reviews online (I admit I don't know anything about Korean products lol): Nature Republic 92% aloe vera soothing gel, Mizon snail recovery gel cream, and Innisfree super volcanic pore clay mask.
What excited me most was the freebies! Jolse sure is generous with samples. I received:
Luke charcoal nose cleaning strips
Fascy BBOGEUL tina moisture cream
Lioele triple the solution BB cream
Lioele blooming shimmer pearl base
Lioele intensive time reversing snail cream
Tonymoly luminous goddess aura BB cream
Tonymoly BCDation
Tonymoly tomatox magic massage pack
Tonymoly banana hand milk
Etude House fresh cherry tint
A pack of blotting papers
My overall impression? Way to go Jolse! I'll give them 5/5 with my overall experience.. I am planning to order some more products soon, what are your favorites?? any suggestions?? :)
Until next time!
...Shannon...
