When I decided to have a total revamp of my whole skincare routine a few weeks ago, I turned to the internet for help as I have no idea of Korean brands which I can choose products from. There were literally thousands of products for every skin problem a girl can possibly think of (girl problems lol) and I was too overwhelmed with the variety offered.
That being said, I turned to bloggers to find out their most loved beauty products. I became curious about this highly recommended NATURE REPUBLIC 92% Aloe Vera Soothing Gel. I grew up with aloe vera plants in our home which my cousins and I used to put on our hair and face (with good results) so I thought now is the time to relieve the moment haha.. :)
I got this on my very first Jolse skincare haul which I previously wrote about. There must be hundreds of reviews on this product but I wanted to write my own take on this :)
It came in a big green plastic tub! I read on Jolse that this 300 ml but I was still surprised on how big it was. When will I ever finish 300 ml of aloe vera gel?
It claims to compose of 92% aloe vera and can be used as a moisturiser, hair gel, to soothe irritated skin, dry skin, make-up base, body lotion, etc and list goes on and on.. Plenty of uses for a single product :)
The back part contains the ingredients list. I am glad that there is an English version of the list and true enough the very first ingredient is the aloe leaf extract. But it does contain alcohol :( I dont have any allergies to alcohol but they tend to make my skin dry..
There is a plastic lid covering the inside of the tub, but no spatula.

I like the consistency, not greasy, absorbs well, plus the smell is amazing!!! I always use this after every shower and every morning before I put on sunblock and powder. It makes my skin so soft and my powder glides on smoothly. Even though it contains alcohol, it's not that drying on my skin and it doesn't bring out my dry patches even with the air-conditioning on. Thumbs-up!!! :)
Repurchase? Yes! But it will take a while though. It's hard to finish a 300 ml tub of aloe gel all by myself lol... :)
My verdict: 5/5, I would have preferred that it came with a spatula as it is more hygienic, now I just clean my hands thoroughly before I use it.
