MIZON 24 Soft Milk Whipping Cream

Hello! Today I will be giving my thoughts on another Mizon product: the Mizon 24 Soft Milk Whipping Cream.

A few weeks ago I was on a hunt for a good night cream which can match the overnight AC in my room and not leave my skin like a desert in the morning. I ordered this cream from Roseroseshop. They have this free shipping on their Mizon products and it was cheaper than my favorite shop Jolse. I haven't found much reviews about this cream online, maybe only about 2-3 reviews, but it said "milk" so I was intrigued. I knew milk products were good for your skin, so I think this is a cheaper alternative than bathing myself in it lol.. :)

Actually, as per the description online it said goat's milk! Okay.... I'm feeling adventurous now, and it was from Mizon (I super duper loooove their snail repair gel cream!) so I guess it was safe to try.. By now I'm applying at least five different products on my face for my nighttime routine and I'm so glad I rarely have breakouts when using new products.. ^_^

The container for this cream is simple, a transparent sturdy plastic etched with bubbles much like the design printed on the box. The box contains a short description and the ingredient list, both in Korean and English. It has the Mizon holographic sticker for authenticity. You can read a short description of the cream here and here. I was actually surprised by the ingredients: Goat colostrum, milk proteins, niacinamide, and antarctic iceberg anyone??

There is a plastic separator on the opening but I removed it so you can see the off-white cream properly. No spatula on this one too :(.. The consistency is like a jelly-pudding dessert, but once spread it becomes very creamy. I don't really like the scent of this, it smells of generic grocery/drugstore creams. I imagined that it will smell of fresh milk (wishful thinking lol..). I thought that the scent will go away after a few minutes but I was surprised that I can still smell it an hour after application! Those sensitive to smell might be put off by this. I really wished it was scent-free like their snail repair gel cream.

Please excuse my hand lol... I don't know if you can see on the second picture but there is definitely a residue there after application. Actually after 30 minutes the residue was still there! It definitely doesn't absorb fast enough like it claims to do.

This cream claims to give smoothness, elasticity, and brightness to the skin. When I wake up in the morning my skin is really very soft and that icky residue on my face is gone. I was afraid that I would wake up with a greasy face but I just wake up with baby butt smooth skin lol! My skin did brighten up, but only a bit and my skintone improved slightly after a few weeks of using it everyday at night. But.... that's about it. No dramatic results, just smooth skin in the morning and the fact that my dull skin improved veeeeerrrry slightly.

It will probably take me a long time to finish this cream (it has 90 ml on it) because it is too rich for me and a little goes a long way plus I don't have another night cream to replace this. It might benefit those with dry skin as it is super moisturising but those with oily skin might want to avoid it. It does its job in keeping my face moisturized at night with the AC on so i will continue using this until I find a better sleeping pack. But sorry Mizon no repurchase on this cream for me.. ^.^

You can purchase this cream from Roseroseshop for 12.43 USD and from Jolse for 17.98 USD.

Until next time!

Beautynetkorea Haul #1

Hello everyone!! ^^

I am back with another haul I received a few days ago. It's not a big purchase because I wanted to try out the shop first. I found this shop after reading blogs and watching hauls in Youtube. I may be an online shopping addict now as I seem to be ordering stuff from Korea every two weeks lol.. My wallet is already crying :))

So anyway this time I decided to order from Beautynetkorea. Like the other websites I ordered from they ship directly from Korea, and the magic words: free worldwide shipping (>>>insert twinkling eyes here<<<)!!!

I have ordered from a few websites by now and I compared their prices to the other shops. Their prices are pretty reasonable, even a little cheaper. Some of their items are a few dollars cheaper, but some are also more expensive, and they sell samples! If you don't want to buy the full sized item then this is a great alternative. They don't have a pretty big selection on their website, but I believe their ebay store stock more items (they go by the name f2plus1).

My timeline:
       Ordered: 08/05/2015
       Verified:  09/05/2015
       Shipped: 12/05/2015
       Received: 24/05/2015

My order did take a while to be shipped out, but I received it exactly 12 days after they emailed me the shipping details so it was no biggie  for me.. :)

I like that they mark the parcels with a lower value to avoid customs charges. My package was marked 10 dollars and it came in the now very familiar small brown box :)

There was a bunch of bubble wraps on top of my items but I removed them so I can take a picture inside exactly how it is packed. There is small card thanking me for my purchase.. I can see some samples there! Sometimes I get more excited in finding the free samples instead of what I actually purchased lol..

My mini haul! I got some Tonymoly sheet masks (yes I am addicted to these stuff!), a Missha 4D mascara and an eyeshadow, a Holika Holika heartful lipstick (my first Korean lipstick!), Tonymoly red appletox honey cream samples, and Skinfood gold caviar cream and platinum grape cell emulsion samples. (Links to the items below) ^^.

Tonymoly Floria Whitening Mask Sheet 3 pcs 3.99 USD
Tonymoly Naturalth Goat Milk Moisture Mask Sheet 4.26 USD
Tonymoly Red Appletox Honey Cream Sample 20 pcs 6.99 USD
Skinfood Gold Caviar Cream Sample 20 pcs 4.99 USD
Skinfood Platinum Grape Cell Emulsion Sample 20 pcs 4.99 USD
Missha The Style 4D Mascara 4.97 USD
Missha The Style Triple The Perfection Shadow #1 6.99 USD
Holika Holika Heartful Moisture Lipstick BG401 Baby Beige 7.69 USD

My order came with a Tonymoly panda's dream eye patch! So cute! They have a promotion where they give these patches for every order but you can also buy them from their sample shop. Most of the samples were from Tonymoly as well as some Skinfood samples. However I have yet to try my purchases on this haul. I try to order sheet masks everytime because I love them!! Never mind that I have a whole box of them, you can never have too many sheet masks (and did I mention they're dirt cheap?) lol.. I am very much excited to try the mascara as I am running out of my Maybelline one. ^__^

The prices I linked are the regular prices in the website, however at the shopping cart and the checkout itself there are some discounts applied as they are having some sale going on. Tracking is free for orders over 50 USD, but you can add 2.50 USD for smaller orders.

At the time of writing this post my haul #2 is en route to Incheon haha... I love online shopping so much!.. Any suggestions which website to check next?

Until next time!

Eopenmarket Haul #1

I am always excited to discover new websites where I can purchase new skin care and cosmetic items from Korea. My eyes twinkle when I see their cheap prices, and specially free shipping!! :)

A few weeks ago I discovered Eopenmarket and their Lucky Box. A lucky box is a kind of sample box wherein different samples from different brands are included, perfect for sample hoarders like me (yes I am a sample horder lol) who want to try the products out first before buying the full sized version.

So here goes my timeline:
Ordered: April 28
Verified: April 29
Shipped: April 29
Received: May 12

This actually came together with my Jolse haul in my previous post. So I had 2 boxes to open yay!!

Here's what I purchased:

The Face Shop Real Nature Mask Sheets 14 pcs set 16.79 USD

Of course I didn't only purchase the lucky box! Lol! I am currently in my sheet mask phase right now and I seem to be hoarding so much sheet masks than I can use in a year. This was actually 18.66 USD, but it gets discounted to 16.79 USD at check out.

This didn't actually come in a box, instead it was packed in a sealed plastic bag. The sample box came with a total of 56 samples, including a Food A Holic sheet mask in pomegranate and a cute tiny Tony Moly Cats Chu tint! So cute! Most of the samples were from Tony Moly. There were some Skinfood, Milky Dress, Mizon, and Purito. I am not very familiar with Purito, and its nice to see multiple foil samples of Mizon. I absolutely love their Snail Recovery Gel Cream and 24 Soft Milk Whipping Cream. I am excited to try other products from their range.

I also got 4 more foil samples, 1 Tony Moly nose sheet, and 1 more Tony Moly tint with my order! I was not expecting any more samples as I already purchased the lucky box. It was placed separate from the plastic bag so I know it was not included in the lucky box. So nice of them! The package and the tint was securely wrapped in bubble wrap so nothing was damaged. This is my first purchase from them but it won't be the last. :)

I recommend that you do check out this site. While they don't have a large selection, their prices are cheaper than others. Shipping is free, however you can add a tracking number for your order for 2.50 USD if your total order is below 40 USD. Tracking number is free for orders 40 USD and above. :)

Until next time!

Jolse Haul #2

Getting packages in the mail always make me smile!!

I received my second order from Jolse a few days back and I was so excited to get home from work so I can finally test my goodies!! :)

This order is a little bigger than my first order. I wanted to build my skin care products and I missed out on a few essential things earlier. In this order I got a toner, lotion, and serum, plus a few cosmetic products and a sunscreen..

So my timeline is:
   Ordered: April 28
   Verified: April 31
   Shipped: May 1
   Received: May 12

I am always impressed by Jolse's customer service. My first order was shipped only hours after I made my payment, but to be fair this current order was made during a sale so I guess they were a bit backed up. And I can't complain with the shipping! I always get my packages within 10-12 days max (weekends included), which I must say is pretty fast since I live here in the middle east.

This is what I got:

I got items from Innisfree (my favorite brand), Tony Moly, and Etude House.

from left to right:
Innisfree Lavender Moisture Firming Lotion 200 ml 15.28 USD
Innisfree Rose Clear Skin 250 ml 15.28 USD
Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Serum 80 ml 20.68 USD

from left to right, top to bottom:

Seriously, I can't resist cute packaging. Look at that Tony Moly pact and Etude House blusher! aren't they the cutest?

Here are my freebies:

Jolse is one of the most generous sites when it comes to samples. I got 18 samples in total, including a bath glove, a full sized sheet mask, and two tiny sample bottles! I am glad to see they included some Cosrx samples here. I am always curious about their products. I might buy some full sized products of the brand if I like it enough.

I always enjoy shopping at Jolse. They have a large selection with reasonable prices and free shipping worldwide! They also have brand sales weekly so please do check it out.. :)

Until next time!

MIZON Snail Recovery Gel Cream

Okay, so I resisted long enough but I lost and I jumped in the current snail craze. What am I talking about? It's the Mizon All In One Snail Recovery gel :)

I had an earlier aversion to anything pertaining snails and specially to that slimy stuff they secrete, but after so many rave reviews, I gave up. And I'm glad! Let me just say I LOVE THIS CREAM!!! ^___^

Snail mucin is nothing new. It has been used for years in Korean and Japanese skin care products for its amazing properties. But since I hate anything slithery and slimy I always passed on this Mizon cream when browsing in websites. But it was always there! In the bestsellers lists! So what did I do? I caved in lol... Anyway we always had these snails as lunch when we were children playing in the rice paddies, so I said fine let me try this cream everybody has high praises about. :)

I got this for my basic skincare routine. It came in a small pink tube. It was smaller than I thought. But since I was trying it out it was fine with me. If I am happy with it I can always repurchase. It contains 45 ml of the product.

The problem with these types of tubes is that it would be impossible to get the very last product out. Thankfully the English ingredients list is printed on the box.

You can read the description from the official Mizon website or from Jolse (which I think was more informative than the Mizon website). It boasts of 74% snail secretion filtrate and is fragrance, color, and paraben free.

I love this gel/cream hybrid! It has no fragrance at all. It is easy to apply and absorbs very well. I use this as the very last step of my nighttime regimen as recommended. I use this everyday at night and it is now my holy grail facial cream. It makes my skin so smooth and blemish free. It even made my skin softer and my skintone more even. It has a very light consistency and is non-greasy or oily so it is suitable for oily skin. Those with dry skin might find it too light however.

Another interesting thing I noticed while using this cream was that I didn't get too much pimples during "that time of the month". I usually get so many ugly bumps on my chin and jaw area, but since using this I only got around 1-2!! Amazing! Two thumbs up!! :)

This cream is also so cheap you can hoard it as much as you want without breaking the bank lol. I am almost out so I need to get my hands on it soon. Maybe Mizon can release it in bigger versions??

I got this from Jolse for 5.57 USD. Yes it is that cheap!!! But don't be fooled by the cheap price: it works so well might be better than those expensive creams lol.

Until next time!

INNISFREE Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask

Hello everybody!

Today I will be giving my thoughts on my very first clay mask: Innisfree super volcanic pore clay mask. :)

I got this mask from my very first Jolse haul a few months ago. I needed a deep cleansing mask for my super dull skin, plus it helps with pores! I was sold so this went in my shopping cart haha.. There are two variants, the other was the original version. I read so much good reviews about this so I decided to give it a try.

It came in a cute brown jar. It contains 100 ml of the product.

There is a short product description and English ingredients list on the box. You can read a thorough description and the ingredients list in the official Innisfree World website.

There is no spatula included. I would have preferred that they included one for hygiene purposes. I just wash my hands thouroughly before using this.

There is a small plastic transparent lid covering the opening of the jar. The mask itself is grayish in color. At first I didn't smell anything, but after applying this I noticed a faint earthy clay smell which thankfully disappears almost immediately after application. A little goes a long way so this jar will last me a long time. It is easy to apply and spread, and it doesn't harden! Hooray! I can still talk while this is on my face lol.. :)

This clay mask claims to: tighten pores, control sebum production, brighten dull skin tone, exfoliate skin, deep clean, and cools the skin. And I can say that it's all true! This product is amazing!!! I use this about twice a week after cleansing my face, and for the few months I have been using this, I already saw great improvement to my skin. My skin never looked better! My pores are a little smaller, my face is smoother, and I have a more even skintone! I even have less oily T-zone now, wow!!! I do however get little bumps and flakiness after using this, but it goes away in a day or two so it must be due to the deep cleansing and exfoliating effect of the mask. This is easy to wash off too, i just use lukewarm water and I love that it doesn't give a residue.

So will I recommend? Definitely!!! This is my go-to weekly deep cleansing mask. And for the price I would say it is a great value for money.

You can purchase this from Korean online stores and is an Innisfree best seller. I got this for 14. 38 USD from Jolse. They provide worldwide free shipping and a ton of samples for purchases. You can buy it here.

Here I am looking scary with my mask on lol... :)

Until next time!

Innisfree Haul #1

I finally got my very first Innisfree World order yay!!!

I was very excited for this order because these are my very first sheet masks!

I got these a few weeks ago when they were having their buy 10 get 10 free promotion on their bestselling It's Real Squeeze masks. In total I got 40 masks (I got a little crazy haha but hey I've got to start building up my stash right???) and I had to use my free shipping coupon as my order weighed more than 1 kg..

So anyway here's my timeline:

Ordered:        April 21, 2015
Shipped:        April 23, 2015
Received:       May 3, 2015

It took only 10 days for my parcel to be shipped from Korea to Oman which is pretty fast in my opinion. I only chose the K-packet as I was not sure about the EMS services here in the country. I would have gotten it sooner if my parcel was not stuck in customs for 6 days but I am not complaining coz it still seemed pretty fast shipping to me ^_____^

My parcel arrived like this:

The box was a little damaged from its journey, but from my experience buying online from overseas, they wrap the contents in bubble wrap so i wasn't too concerned.

Inside was an invoice for my purchase which I think is nice. The whole order was wrapped in brown paper.

And true enough, the bubble wrap!!! Everything was securely wrapped. Time to check my masks :)

In this order I got: 10 manuka honey, 5 pomegranate, 5 lime, 5 strawberry, 5 rose, 5 acai berry, and 5 green tea. I wanted to get the rice variant but everytime I log in it was always sold-out :( Since I have zero experience with sheet masks, I just went for those with high user ratings lol..

I like ordering from the website but I find their shipping box too thin and easily damaged. Plus the box was obviously too big for the contents. I wish they can ship the items in better boxes, I juggled the box when I was on my way home and I can here these moving inside.

Their shipping fee is reasonable too, but their prices for the products are a little higher than other online shops, and there are some items not available in the website but is available in others. I hope they will stock their complete product line up in the future so that there is no need to order from 2-3 different shops right? I had to order the Rose clear skin toner from Jolse coz the innisfree website doesn't carry it (But I got it on their mother's day sale from Jolse so I'm pretty happy about it lol)..

All in all I am very satisfied with my first order experience from Innisfree. I paid only 24 usd for these with free shipping! (Insert big smiles here lol ^____^). Reviews for the items coming up!

Any recommendations on which I should try first? I would love to hear your thoughts..!

Until next time!
